The workshop, organized by the Technologies for Earth Observations and Natural Hazards (TeRN) Consortium, jointly with the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), intends to present to the Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies (NEREUS), and to the space community, the main results obtained by the FP7 DORIS project.

DORIS is an advanced downstream service for the detection, mapping, monitoring and forecasting of ground deformations, including landslides and ground subsidence, at different temporal and spatial scales and in various physiographic, environmental and administrative settings.

The DORIS FP7 collaborative project was financed with € 3.4 million, and was aimed at stimulating the development of downstream GMES (now Copernicus) services. The project started on 1 October 2010 and will end on 30 September 2013.

The workshop, representing the final dissemination event, will be held in Brussels on 26 September 2013, at the Basilicata Region Brussels Antenna office, in Avenue des Arts 19 AD.

A pre-registration is requested within 12 September 2013.

In the section “General information” of the workshop (Workshop: DORIS presentation to NEREUS), the agenda of the workshop and the pre-registration form are available (http://www.doris-project.eu/meetings/).
