Ms degrees in Electronic Engineering (1992) and Mathematics (1994). Since 1994 he has been working at IMAA-CNR and since 2001 he has been research scientist. His scientific research is focused on the development and application  of statistical methods for the investigation of geophysical and environmental processes. He participated to projects funded by EU, NATO, MIUR, Regione Basilicata; PI of many bilateral projects funded by CNR. He was visiting scientist in several foreign institutions in the frame of bilateral agreements of CNR. He was grantee of the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst and Gobierno de Aragón. Editor of Nonlin. Proc. Geophys. and Acta Geophysica. He earned the CNR award for the excellent research activity in 2005. He ranked at #7 by number of papers published in 2000-2010 over 30670 authors in the topic “Earthquakes” (by Thomson Reuters). Coauthor of more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and more than 100 communications in conferences.
