The first local Workshop of the PrioritEE project, funded by Interreg MED and leaded by CNR-IMAA, was held in Potenza on 20 July 2017 at the headquarters of the Basilicata Regional Authority, organised by the Società Energetica Lucana (SEL) in cooperation with CNR-IMAA and supported by the Municipality of Potenza.
The workshop was aimed at identifying the status quo of energy efficiency policies in public buildings in the municipality of Potenza as well as at eliciting needs and expectations of stakeholders for the application of energy efficiency measures in public buildings through the implementation of an ad-hoc toolbox.
The event was opened with the signature by the EU Planning Councilor of the Municipality of Potenza, Donatella Cutro, and the Director of the CNR-IMAA, Vincenzo Lapenna, of a collaboration agreement between the two Entities within the PrioritEE project, in the presence of the Regional Councilor for Environment and Energy, Francesco Pietrantuono, and the SEL director, Vitantonio Rossi.
The first session dealt with the presentation of the PrioritEE project, the initiatives on energy efficiency promoted by the Local and Regional Authorities, and the SEL activities on energy data gathering and assessment. There were presented also the results of an on-line questionnaire distributed to selected key stakeholders.
The second interactive technical session addressed in more details the methodology framework and the instances of local stakeholders in order to define the main objectives of the Potenza pilot case.
