Overall Objective |
To capitalize on the experience of the PrioritEE project and improve, through transnational cooperation, the effectiveness of local policies on sustainable energy use, strengthening the capacities of public authorities and stakeholders in the evaluation, definition and adoption of analytical tools for increasing energy efficiency of public buildings.
|
Main activities |
The PrioritEE Decision Support Tool (DST), the key output of PrioritEE, is improved to facilitate its transferring to new territories and its application among different governmental levels (e.g. municipalities, energy agencies, public institutions) to support local action plans (e.g. SECAP). A structured training and transferring process is implemented to support the use of the Decision Making Support Tool – DST in the territories of the partners’ MED area. In particular, on-line and in-person capacity building activities are organized including training courses, in local languages and in English, study visits and peer learning activities among the project partners and within the Efficient Buildings community. Key local actors will support the transferring process through a multi-level communication and contribute to the definition of recommendations for local strategies and plans.
|
Expected Outputs |
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) on DST uptake: The main result of the project will recognise an effective transfer of the improved PrioritEE DST and its concrete uptake by the relevant local governments, through the development of ad-hoc Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs). At least three MoUs, developed with the 3 main “receiver” partners will be signed by the participant local authorities to testify the effectiveness of the transferring process, contributing to the programme result indicator “Share of sub-regional and local energy efficiency plans including adapted measures for public building stock”.
